Augmented Elite Soldier - Crimsonby ~Jeffufu

For once I'm fairly happy with a painting! I've been doing a lot of quick paintings, and Guild Wars 2 fan art, but haven't really pushed myself to do the best job I can do. I figured I should give that shot this weekend.

I spent probably close to 15 hours on this spread over two days, and referenced heavily for the hair and face. Came up with the suit on my own.

There are things I'd still like to fix, but at this point it'd just be trying to 'make it better'. I do these as exercises for self-improvement, and fixing it more doesn't really help me much as I've identified where I went wrong, and what to focus on next time I paint.

all right thats good enough i guess ^^
though i first thought you made it from imagination untill i recognized her and i think others assume that as well if you dont say u used reference, so a bit of "false marketing" imo haha, but maybe thats just me

found your thread after i set thread threshold to 60 days out haha
try using more color temperature and subtle color shifts to help seperate the light and shadow (for your future paintings)

Thanks for the feedback... getting a better understanding of colour is high on my list. It's something I struggle with, using it for lighting and shadows. Much appreciated!
